input lecture
In this input presentation I discuss the possibilities of written language in online theatre and give a.o. insights into my performance attempts on your body (by the anonymous screen in front of you) in which the viewer enters into a one-to-one encounter with an anonymous entity behind the screen. How can written language become a connecting tool between performer and audience despite the physical absence of the other? To what extent does writing have a performative potential or can or even replace the present body of the performer? And what are the possibilities that this opens up for the spectator's imagination and involvement?
